This policy is a general statement of how chalk-theory.com handles information, not a substitute for the data-handling terms in a signed client agreement. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement, the agreement controls.
This site collects three kinds of information: analytics data about how visitors use the site (via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), scheduling information you provide when booking a call (via the Cal.com booking widget on the Contact page), and whatever you send us directly by email.
There is no account system, no sign-up flow, and no form on this site that stores submissions on our own servers. We don’t collect payment information here.
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage: which pages get visited, how people navigate between them, and which links and buttons get clicked. This data is processed by Google under its own privacy terms. We don’t currently show a cookie consent banner; if you want to limit analytics tracking, use your browser’s tracking-protection or cookie settings, or a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics.
The Contact page embeds Cal.com to schedule calls. When you book through it, the information you enter (name, email, and whatever context you provide) is processed by Cal.com and shared with us so we can prepare for and hold the call. Cal.com’s own privacy policy governs how it handles that data on its platform.
If you email us directly, we use that information to respond to you and, if an engagement follows, to scope and deliver the work. We don’t sell or rent contact information to third parties.
We keep email and booking correspondence for as long as it’s relevant to an active or prospective engagement, and analytics data for as long as Google Analytics retains it under our account settings. You can request deletion of information you’ve sent us directly by emailing the address below.
Depending on where you’re located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these, email us and we’ll respond directly.
